Ferroalloys have been developed to improve the properties of steels and alloys by introducing specific alloying elements in desirable quantities in the most feasible technical and economic way. Ferroalloys are namely alloys of one or more alloying elements with iron, employed to add chemical elements into molten metal. Not a single steel grade is produced without ferroalloys. Ferroalloys production is an important part of the manufacturing chain between mining and steel.
Green Core has a proven track record since 2017, as an efficient trader and exporter of Ferroalloys. We mainly supply Simn6515, Femn 75% FeSi 70-72%. Our customer base stretches across Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, and Pakistan.
As Green Core is a supplier of Manganese ore to most of the 15 Ferro alloy factories in Zambia, we have strong business relationships with most of the plants here. This enables us to secure material on a priority basis and a the best prices.
Since Zambia is currently categorized as an LDC, buyers from other countries, enjoy preferential import duties, thereby cementing Zambia’s contribution to the Steel markets of the world.
